A type designer and digital punchcutter based in Barcelona. He designs retail and custom typefaces several of which has been awarded with TDC Excellence in Type Design. Andreu also teaches typography and type design at EINA, University School of Design and Art, in Barcelona.
A graphic and type designer, and a partner at Commercial Type, a type foundry based in London and New York. He has also been a long term collaborator with Peter Saville which has resulted in such diverse work as identities for Givenchy, the England football team kit and the logo for Kate Moss.
The Netherlands / Slovakia
Born in Czechoslovakia, Peter is based in The Hague, where he works in the field of editorial, graphic, and type design. He is the founder of Typotheque, co-founder of Dot Dot Dot magazine, Works That Work magazine, and most recently Fontstand.
Creative Director of Mucca Design in New York City, a branding agency that works for clients such as Sephora, Whole Foods, Victoria’s Secret, Barnes & Noble, Adobe, or Bacardi. Matteo is also the Chairman of the Type Directors Club in NYC.
Central Saint Martins
A designer and writer with a particular interest in the history of letterforms. She teaches typography on the Graphic Communication Design programme at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design.
A type designer, and a teacher DVK, University of Split and University of Zagreb, Faculty of Design. He founded Typonine type foundry, and since 2016, he is a partner at Typotheque. Croatian country delegate for ATypI, the organization of the international type community.
Dino dos Santos
A type designer and a founder of the DSType, which designed typefaces for clients like FIFA, UEFA, or The New York Times Magazine. Dino dos Santos is also the author of the book A Letra Portuguesa (The Portuguese Script), published in 2015.
Feliciano Type Foundry
A type designer and a consultant specialising in type design for newspapers and magazines. Mário is the author of several custom type families for example for the Portuguese weekly newspaper Expresso, Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, or the Spanish newspaper El País.
Hyewon Han & Paul Geumho Seok
Paul Geumho Seok is of the most influential typographers and type designers in South Korea, and founder of ‘Sandoll Communications’ in Seoul, a company that developed a diversity of Hangul font designs for global companies such as Apple, Google, Samsung or LG.
Jonas Hecksher & Mathias Jespersen
Partners as Copenhagen based Playtype, design agency and a type foundry promoting Danish type design. Both Mathias & Jonas have worked in the type and design industry for over two decades, and received a range of awards and honors, in Denmark and internationally.
After starting his career as a graphic designer he co-founded the CD-Creative advertising agency in Bratislava, Slovakia. In 2015, together with Peter Biľak, he has founded Fontstand.
A freelance typographer and professor at HBKsaar, University of Arts Saarbrücken, Germany. Fuelled by specimen books, she is occupied with type around the clock and in all its incarnations – webfonts, bitmap fonts, history of technology, research, terminology, classification, or gender issues in design.

Graphic and type designer and a teacher based in Barcelona, working with custom lettering and type design. She is the author of TypoMag, Typography in Magazines, published by Index Book and co-author of the book Cómo crear tipografías. (How to create typefaces), a book also translated into Polish, Portuguese and English.
Yunjung Park is the Creative Director of Tlabfont, a type froundry from South Korea that has been designing fonts for the past 18 years. She is also currently the affiliate professor at Kookmin University in Seoul, teaching type design.
A type and graphic designer and teacher, lives and works in Moscow. He has been very active as a consultant on Cyrillic since 2008, designing Cyrillic versions of fonts for various well known fonts. In 2014 he founded CSTM Fonts with Yury Ostromentsky.
Born in Lebanon and based in Amsterdam Kristyan is type and graphic designer working mainly with the Arabic script. In 2016, he co-launched Arabic Type Design - Beirut, the first educational program dedicated to the subject.
An associate typeface designer at Production Type, he mainly manages the development of the foundry retail catalogue. An ESAD Amiens alumni, his interests vary from epigraphic inscriptions to the typography of pizza shops.
Paul van der Laan
A founding partner of Bold Monday type foundry. He is also staff member of the MA course Type & Media at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague. Bold Monday designed custom fonts for worldwide clients such as IBM, Audi, USA Today, General Electric, NBC Universal and Rijksmuseum Amsterdam.
The conference is held in Oris, House of Architecture, the place of creativity ad socialising in the centre of Zagreb.
Zagreb is easy to reach by plane or by car (4 hours from Vienna, Budapest or from Venice, 2 hours from Graz or Ljubljana).
