LiebeFonts is an independent type foundry founded in 2009 by Berlin-based type designer Ulrike Rausch. Ulrike specializes in carefully crafted handwriting fonts utilizing sophisticated OpenType features to make them actually look like the real handwriting. When not busy with the next font release, she enjoys teaching and giving workshops, and she co-authored the book “Designing Fonts”.
“My OpenType feature nerdiness and my obsession with perfectly engineered fonts are the result of few semesters in Luc(as) de Groot’s type design class at the Potsdam University of Applied Science.”
The LiebeFonts foundry library on Fontstand includes 25 fonts in 6 families and is available for desktop & web rental as well as for subscription using the Fontstand for iPad app.
The fonts mentioned in this article are available to rent by the month for a fraction of their retail price on Fontstand.
