The combination of distinct Bodoni characteristics and the very square form, makes De Archie a rare and effectful serif with a lot of expressive details. The texture is airy and has a nice, pleasant flow. As a text font, it has a lot of character without compromising the legibility. On the De Archie Display the hairlines becomes thinner, adding a more delicate Didot feel to the design. The contrast accentuates the expressive details and turns up the effect. Combined with the square form, the display version captures attention in an elegant manner.
