The original RandomFont! Engineered and imagined by Just van Rossum and Erik van Blokland in 1989. In its first incarnation Beowolf and its humanist sans sister BeoSans used to change its shapes in the printer, during printing, using raw PostScript. Oh the mischief! These days such shenanigans are no longer allowed and we converted Beowolf into a well behaved but slightly overengineered OpenType font. No delays. Looks the same though, with the same weird edgy corners. All randomness in is recorded in 6 alternatives that get switched around.
