Motel is a collection of fonts based on the neon signs in moravian city of Havířov. Vojtěch Říha decided to bring the expressive shapes and sign-making approach to digital font. Motel has the same shapes and styles as the original signs: the neon glass tube, the underlying frame and their combination. The primary character set is all-caps with most lowercases as alternatives. There is a complete character set in frames for quick creation of signage. Motel is perfect for navigation, signs, striking posters or fresh visuals. Motel is also available as Motel Slab, with heavy slabs and more neon.
