Fontstand

"Noir No1" is a functional and contemporary take on a geometric sans serif, paying homage to the ideas of Jakob Erbar, Paul Renner and Herbert Bayer and the geometric typefaces of the 1920’ies. A crisp and versatile typeface, that through a number of stylistic sets, lets the user switch between display styles and more text oriented styles. The family includes nine weights, with corresponding italics, ranging from Thin to Black. To add to the versatility of the family we decided to expand the character set and build in extensive language support for Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic and the phonetic system IPA.
