Designed in the 1990s by the calligrapher Giovanni de Faccio in collaboration with typographer Lui Karner, Rialto dF is a text face inspired by calligraphic tradition with uppercase roman letters, numerals and punctuation combining with lowercase italics. As the name suggests, it is a bridge between calligraphy and typography. It is also a tribute to the revived imperial letters of the fifteenth century. All versions come with alternate characters and several dingbats which are accessible through OpenType features.
Rialto dF Grande is designed for 16 pt and above.
