Rongel is a typeface inspired by the 18th-century’s types from the Spanish punch cutter Francisco Rongel, showcased in ‘Muestras de los punzones y matrices de letra que se funde en el obrador de la Imprenta Real’, Madrid, 1799.
Rongel is primarily a text typeface but due to its demarked shapes, it will handle a nice display setting. It is available in three weights from Regular to Bold, with matching italics.
