The super elliptic (square style) interpretation of the classic display font, Copperplate. Upperplate has small glyphic serifs emphasizing the blunt terminus of vertical and horizontal strokes. Like its source of inspiration, Upperplate shows an unusual combination of influences: the glyphs are actually a reminiscent of stone carving, the wide horizontal axis is typical for Victorian display types, yet the result is far cleaner and leaves a crisp impression on all platforms.
