Who are we?

We’re Fontstand BV, an independent company registered in the Netherlands. Fontstand presents a different way of licensing fonts. We made a desktop app for Mac and Windows, that let you try fonts in your favorite application for free. If you like the fonts, you can rent them for just a fraction of their regular price, and synchronize your font rentals for use on your iOS device. And if you continue to use them, get them for good after a year. It's that simple.

The concept was created by type designers Andrej Krátky and Peter Biľak to help other type designers and type foundries to offer high quality fonts to an even wider audience. We are strictly independent from any existing large corporate entity on the font market. Fontstand app was designed by Ondrej Jób, who is also a type designer.
